Residential/Commercial Service Technician
An expanding HVAC company, Brody Pennell Heating, Air Conditioning and Electrical Contractors, Incorporated, which has been serving Los Angeles and the surrounding communities since 1945, has an immediate opening for an experienced (three plus years) residential/commercial service technician.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a career minded, self-starting HVAC technician to join the area’s fastest growing HVAC Company.
The selected candidate will provide exemplarity service through on-time calls; first call completions, with technical competence and dependability. In addition, the candidate will be expected to recommend solutions to customer’s problems, help provide cost analysis estimates for repairs/replacement equipment and sell maintenance agreements.
Secondly, the candidate could be assigned after hour emergency calls while on call on a rotating basis.
We require excellent customer service and communication skills. You will report and work directly with the Service Manager and Service Dispatchers.
Candidates must have valid drivers license and will need to be insurable by our insurance carrier without any premium increase.
All candidates must be able to pass a drug test and submit to a background check.
Once a awhile shift requirements can vary, especially during our busy season. You may be required to start earlier or work later than a normal eight-hour day.
The qualified technician must have and be responsible for the following:
- Willing to perform both residential and commercial work.
- Neat, clean and quality workmanship.
- Own hand tools, meters and testing equipment.
- Ability to work unsupervised.
- Ability to follow directions.
- Ability to work with others.
- Good attendance.
- Good work ethic.
- Customer service skills.
- Good Communication skills.
